AI for Empowering Learning and Teaching Funding Programme
The Hong Kong government has allocated HK$500 million to fund about 1,000 publicly funded schools, granting each school HK$500,000 to promote the integration of artificial intelligence into teaching and administration.
Eligibility & Requirements
School Applications must be submitted to EDB before 28 FEB 2026
Eligible projects
● Purchase or subscription of AI teaching software, platforms, or resources
● Purchase of AI-related hardware (e.g., robotics kits, AI computers)
● Development of school-based AI application solutions (e.g., language models)
● Funding for students to participate in AI-related activities
